Advantages:
Natural gas has seven advantages which are:
1. It is the most economical energy supply: its high efficiency translates into lower final energy consumption and therefore lower overall cost to the user.
2. In addition, it ensures a continuous supply of energy, avoiding power outages.
3. Provides a great supply power.
4. Allows simultaneous use of all household gas appliances that can be installed in a dwelling.
5. It does not require storage, thus avoiding being dependent on punctual supplies as it happens with other energy sources.
6. Natural gas consumption is paid after consumption according to a precise control as measured by meter.
7. It is the fossil energy with the lowest environmental impact: it has the lowest CO2 emissions per unit of energy used, it does not emit solid waste, smoke or odours.
Problems :
There are four disadvantages which are:
1. Misuse of this product can cause explosions.
2. Provides negative environmental effects related to global warming and climate change
3. Natural gas has no odor, so at the time of a leak it will not be easily detected
4. Not renewable
